Tapioca Starch Extraction & Pearl Granulation

Every pack of Sunlit Farms Sabudana (Tapioca Sago) is processed from freshly harvested cassava roots through meticulous extraction, filtration, shaping, and polishing to deliver pristine, uniform, soft pearls.

Step 01 • Extraction

Fresh cassava (tapioca) roots are cleaned, peeled, and crushed to extract starch-rich pulp.

Step 02 • Separation & Settling

Separation & Settling

The extracted pulp is washed to separate pure starch, then settled and collected.

Step 03 • Shaping

Shaping

The starch is processed into small uniform pearls (granules) using specialized equipment.

Step 04 • Drying & Polishing

Drying & Polishing

The pearls are dried, polished to achieve the desired texture and quality, and hygienically packed.
